2025 was filled with incredible, thrilling moments around the world of women’s golf. Here are some of the best:

No. 5 – Anne Chen Wins Epson Tour Finals – Some may not be familiar with how thrilling Anne Chen’s win at the Epson Tour finals was, but it may be in contention for the tournament of the year. Needing to win to get her Tour card, Chen went five extra holes with Sophia Schubert, finishing with barely any sunlight left in the Palm Springs area. Chen won’t have full status on the LPGA Tour, but this win opened the door to a career at the highest level.

No. 4 – Grace Kim Wins Evian Championship – The tournament of the year on the LPGA Tour, it is hard to overestimate how incredible this finish was. Grace Kim made three birdies and two eagles on the final six holes, four of which were in regulation, two of them in a playoff against Jeeno Thitikul, the best player in the world. It was a star-making win for a player who had shown fantastic flashes before.

No. 3 – Lottie Woad’s Incredible Summer – It was near unanimous that everyone believed Lottie Woad would be a star on the LPGA Tour, most just didn’t think it would happen this fast. While this isn’t an individual moment, there were many little ones along the way. Her win as an amateur at the Irish Open on the LET, her third place finish at Evian that gave her LPGA Tour status and her win in her professional debut at the Scottish Open. In July, Lottie Woad was the best player in the world.

No. 2 – Yani Tseng Wins Wistron Ladies Open – Yani Tseng is a legend, and probably the greatest argument for the LPGA Hall of Fame to revisit its qualification standards. In her first four years on the LPGA Tour she was a five-time major champion and even honored by Time Magazine as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World. Then, her game fell off a cliff. Tseng went 13 years without a win on a major tour, but got a win, in her home country by four strokes. It was an incredible comeback that many thought was never going to happen.

No. 1 – Australia Wins International Crown – Anyone who follows women’s golf knows that the Australian golf community, particularly on the women’s side, is very tight knit. They’ve proven it in international competitions before, but never more than at the 2025 International Crown. The team of Minjee Lee, Hannah Green, Grace Kim and Stephanie Kyriacou may not have been the strongest on paper, but they felt in control and like the team to beat all week. The leadership by Lee in particular was the capping off of a fantastic bounceback season.
