A Lim Kim, the two-time LPGA Tour winner, had a fantastic day at Lake Nona Country Club, racing out to a dominant lead at -7.

Kim had an incredible -7 65 to start, easily lapping everyone that played in similar time slots. Kim had three birdies on the front nine and four on the back. She didn’t have a single hole over par.

Kim won her second career event at the Lotte Championship in 2024, earning her entry into this tournament. Her first win was at the U.S. Women’s Open in 2020.

Despite some of the biggest stars on tour chasing her, Kim was dominant and consistent on Thursday. She drove the ball long, hit 12 fairways, 16 greens and only had 27 putts.

Kim currently holds a four-stroke lead at the time of publishing over Hannah Green. There is currently a large group tied for third at -2, headlined by Nelly Korda and Jin Young Ko.
